How To Open A Makita Account?
To open an account on makitatools.com, follow these steps:
- Visit the Makita U.S.A. website and navigate to the Account Registration page.
- Fill in the required fields, which include personal details and a password. Passwords must contain 12–20 characters including at least one number, uppercase letter, lowercase letter, and symbol.
- Provide the name of your company and select your primary trade.
- Choose whether you would like to stay up-to-date with Makita Specials and select your preferred language.
- Agree to Makita’s Terms of Service and click “Submit”.
After submitting the form, an account will be created, enabling access to certain portions of the website. The information provided will also be used for market research and to send promotional material advertising new Makita products, Makita-sponsored events, or Makita-sponsored contests. The information will not be sold or shared with third parties.
Please note that this form and any registration form packaged with your tool is for product registration only. Failure to complete this form or failure to complete and return any registration card packaged with your tool does not diminish your warranty rights.

Makita Return Policy?
Makita offers a 30-day return/replacement guarantee. If not satisfied with any Makita product within 30 days of purchase, it can be returned and Makita will provide a replacement or refund at their option. This guarantee does not apply to Makita Accessories and/or wearable items such as bits, blades, or cutters.
In terms of warranty, every Makita product is warranted to be free of defects from workmanship and materials for the period of one year from the date of original purchase. Certain products have longer warranties. For instance, every Makita Lithium-Ion Tool, Battery, Charger, and Pneumatic Nailer is warranted for the period of three years from the date of original purchase.
If any trouble develops during the warranty period, the complete Lithium-Ion Tool, Battery, Charger, or Pneumatic Nailer should be returned to one of Makita’s Factory or Authorized Service Centers. If inspection shows the trouble is caused by defective workmanship or material, Makita will repair (or at their option, replace) without charge.
These warranties do not apply where repairs have been made or attempted by others, or repairs are required because of normal wear and tear. With regard to Pneumatic Nailers, normal wear parts include piston/driver assemblies, piston stops, driver blades, rubber o-rings, seals, isolators, air filters, and driver belts. These are not covered under this warranty.
